Inspiring Identity
Duy Tan was founded by Tran Duy Hy, a Chinese-born businessman, with the word "Tan" meaning change. Duy Tan has created a new household product series that focuses on color, delicate design, and function for daily life. It uses a variety of plastic materials and color-matching and molding technology, which are superior to other brands. The various types of plastic products with good-looking colors, high strength, and good bearing capacity are always safe for users.

Duy Tan captures the hearts of young customers by diversifying, and developing product series in the mid-and high-end segments (Matsu, Matsu Lock, Plaxury) and expanding modern distribution channels (e-commerce) for a smart and modern consumer experience.

The biggest challenge of the plastic industry comes from the thought of manufacturing products without any "redundant details". To do so, a plastic mold must be a "high-end" item, rather than using "hot runner" molds or the lower-end "bavia” molds. However, the price of each mold is not cheap, especially for “high-end” molds if to achieve absolute accuracy. Duy Tan has solved this problem by investing in precision mold factories in Long An and Ho Chi Minh City, which play a particularly important role in the plastic production process.

Achievements & Impact
In 2020, Duy Tan was valued at USD 20.4 million by Forbes Vietnam and is the leader in the household plastic market in Vietnam. In 2021, Duy Tan officially became a member of SCGP group - one of the leading groups in Southeast Asia and in the Top 500 largest corporations in the world. In August 2023, Duy Tan was valued at USD 31 million, ranked 15th out of 25 leading value brands in the industry of personal and industrial consumables.

In the plastic packaging sector, Duy Tan is a favorite supplier of many global famous brands in the FMCG, cosmetics, and pharmaceuticals industries and leading brands in Vietnam such as Masan, Vinamilk, Sabeco, Nutifood, etc.
