In 2007, Turan was appointed as the General Manager of Korea, then as the Managing Director of the Thailand/ Myanmar /Laos cluster after moving to Bangkok, Thailand. In 2014, he moved to Istanbul and was the Head of the Turkey-Eurasia Region for Sanofi Pasteur, covering 14 countries with full strategic and operational responsibility. Since July 2020, Turan is working as the General Manager of Foundation (General Medicines) Indochina MCO (Multi-Country Organization) and Country Chair of Sanofi Vietnam.
