Despite the uncertainties caused by the global Covid-19 epidemic, Dai-ichi Life Vietnam completed the year 2021 with outstanding results. Its total premium revenue reached VND 18,650 billion, which is an increase of 19.4 percent over the year 2020, retaining its position among the top three foreign life insurance companies in Vietnam in terms of total premium market share. 2021 also marks another successful year of Dai-ichi Life Vietnam with its significant milestone of serving more than 4 million customers, while achieving the 4th profitable year in a row with after-tax profit of more than VND2,800 billion, up 115 percent year-on-year.
