Surendra Verma graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical in 2000 from the University of Rajasthan, India and a Master’s in Business Administration in 2005 from the Institute of Management Technology, India.

Surendra Verma is a versatile leader with over 22 years of extensive experience in SCM-Supply Chain and Manufacturing. His expertise in manufacturing, end to end supply chain and plant operation has led to the execution of strategically large projects for new plant set-up, expansions, and enhancement of operational efficiencies in supply distribution. He is currently leading manufacturing operations in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region including manufacturing sites and contract toll sites.
He also played a vital role in the feasibility of two successful acquisitions. Under his leadership, several site expansion and capacity enhancement projects along with supply chain structure and facilities were established in APAC countries through developing local contract manufacturers and suppliers.

UPL Vietnam has built a high level of capability in the manufacturing and supply chain. Moreover, the Vietnam site has been honoured the ASEAN award for “TOP 100 Typical Factory” in 2020 by the department of ASEAN Industrial Economy development.
In addition, the Vietnam site was honoured the “TOP 10 Brand for environment” award for 5 consecutive years in a row in the period of 2015-2019 by the Ministry of Environment of Vietnam under Surendra Verma’s leadership. The site has also won the “TOP 10 Green & Clean Factory” award for 4 consecutive years in the period of 2016-2019 by the Ministry of Economy growth of Vietnam. Furthermore, the site received the “TOP 10 Sustainable development” award for 2 years consecutively in the period of 2018-2019 by the Ministry of Environment of Vietnam.
