Long Chau used to be a family-run pharmacy store that was running for 20 years. The company is a reputable brand in pharmaceutical retail in Ho Chi Minh City. However, a brand name alone is not enough to become a nationwide retail chain. After the merge, there was a huge change in the operating system which became more complex with the technology and management team adapting from FPT Retail.
Nevertheless, the company was determined to maintain and strengthen the skills of the inherent pharmacists while undergoing recruitment and training for the new team. The company believes that these individuals are one of its core values which has the power to preserve the precious legacy of Long Chau pharmacy and continue to win consumers’ trust.
The COVID-19 pandemic hit when the company finally completed its operating system after four years. Despite the challenges, the company overcame the difficulties with its ‘can-do’ attitude and conscientious culture through a lockdown and providing the best services to help people fight against the pandemic.

Long Chau recorded a positive performance in 2020 with a revenue of USD 51.6 million, which was a dramatic increase of 133% compared to 2019. The store numbers also totalled to 200, including 130 new outlets covering 43 of Vietnam’s 63 cities and provinces.
In the first quarter of 2021, the company’s revenue came in at USD 25.2 million, which was a sharp rise of 144% year-on-year. The company’s total store numbers had also increased to 222 stores.
