Dr CEO Trần Thị Lệ oversees NutiFood and ensures it accomplishes its mission — Every product was born not aim to profit, firstly it aims to solve specific urgent demand for the community’ s nutrition.

Born in 1973 in Bình Định Province, after graduating from the Medical University, she started her career at the Nutrition Centre of HCM and became Chairman of BOD cum General Director of Đồng Tâm Company in 2000. In 20 years, she led the company through thick and thin to brilliant achievements. A Vietnamese company that became Top 3 Dairy Companies compared with foreign giants.

Staffs of Nutifood loves the candid leadership of Dr Tran. As a CEO, she spends most of her time at the research centre, cause products’s quality is the core value of Nutifood.

Company Achievements and Role as Entrepreneur
From 2000 to 2006, Ms. Trần became Chairman of BOD cum General director of NutiFood. The Company gained an average growth of 237% per year and was listed on the stock exchange from 2000 to 2007.

After 2007, Dr Tran temporarily left to concentrate on her personal commitments. In 2008, NutiFood went through a bad period and sales fell dramatically. Ms. Tran returned to revive the business and gradually brought it back to success. 2013 to 2017, the Company’s revenue increased three fold to reach 9.205 billion VND at the end of 2017. In 2018, NutiFood’s Revenue gained 9.500 billion VND and its profit reached 828 billion VND. NutiFood expanded its sales to include instant coffee. In 2020, NutiFood launched a coffee chain named “Ông Bầu” and NutiMilk high-standard dairy farm. The company also became “Việt Nam’s No 1 Baby Milk Brand” thanks to its NutiFood GrowPLUS+, which accounts for 22% of revenue market share. NutiFood is the first Vietnamese enterprise to have a world-class fresh milk source 3.5g protein & 4.0g fat / 100ml.

Currently, the company has 5.300 employees with 5 factories in Vietnam, 1 joint venture named NutiFood - Sweden AB milk factory and NutiFood’s Nutrition Research Institute in Sweden.

Vision, Mission & Future Plans
Vision is to become a leading company in nutrition products, sustainably develop for consumers’ benefit and mission is to meet the specific nutritional need of each age group and different pathologies, contribute to the overall human physical and intellectual development.

For the future, Ms. Lệ said, “We are proud of helping to reduce the rate of malnutrition in children to 25%. However, NutiFood still has more to do to eliminate this problem and elevate the health of the Vietnamese people. Investing in research and constantly improving product quality is our challenge and opportunity”. Additionally, she continues to lead NutiFood to conquer the foreign market, with some initial success in achieving FDA standard for milk products for anorexia children, thereby bringing this product to the US market with a factory and NutiFood Nutrition Research Institute in Sweden.
