Company Introduction
Piaggio Vietnam Co., Ltd is Italian 100% invested company - the leading European two-wheel motor vehicle manufacturer. The Company holds the leading role in premium scooter market in Vietnam. The company is based in Binh Xuyen Industrial Zone, Vinh Phuc province which has been granted the Investment License in October 2007. Vietnam then became the strategic market of PIAGGIO Group and operating as the headquarter of Piaggio Asia Pacific. Piaggio Vietnam houses a scooter manufacturing plant, an engine production plant, and the regional R&D center – the only Piaggio R&D center in Asia Pacific. Piaggio Vietnam produces scooters for both local market and export globally. In 2019, Piaggio Vietnam marked its production milestone of the millionth scooter. With more than 800 employees, Piaggio Vietnam is the Group's third-largest production operation, after Pontedera, Italy and Baramati in Maharashtra state, India.
