Established in 1989, Olam International is a leading global agri-business operating from seed to shelf, supplying food and industrial raw materials to over 22,000 customers worldwide. Initiatives for better environment:
Olam seeks to reduce water consumption by using modern technology. The company has been awarded the Blue Factory award by the Industrial Authority of its environmentally friendly practices, including solar energy generation and usage.

Thriving Communities:
Olam contributes to the needs of the community to improve their living standard and health. These efforts include distribution of seeds, installation of water wells and public toilet facilities and street lights.

Prosperous farmers:
Distribution of rice, noodles, biscuits and warm clothing to poor families and supporting the farmers who were badly affected by the COVID 19 pandemic. The Olam Clean Pepper project helps farmers produce pepper by applying OCP standards which is a combination of Rainforest Alliance rules, Olam quality parameters and EU MRL.

Olam Covid-19 Relief Fund, 200 underprivileged families in Tan Phu, Dinh Quan, 240 teachers, pupil in Nhut Chanh, Ben Luc, 267 underprivileged families in Nhut Chanh, Ben Luc, 600 students in An Toan (Quy Nhon), Tay Hoa (Phu Yen), & Lang Ring, 800 gifts for “Happy Market, Sieu Thi 0 Dong” at Vinh Nghiem Pagoda, 900 families, Olam farmer community in Iagrai, Krong Pa, Duc co, 1133 pupils in Iabrel, Ia zole, Kenh Mekh and Kenh San villages.

Achievements and Impact
Olam Vietnam is the largest exporter of cashews, pepper and instant coffee in Vietnam, running seven factories with 6500 employees across Vietnam. The operations have a farmer network of 2 million farmers. Olam is also the amongst the largest exporter of Green Coffee and a large buyer of Vietnamese rice.

Olam’s integrated talent management approach strengthens learning opportunities and work environment. The focus on developing talents and building an inspired organization is reflected in the many awards won over the years. For three consecutive years 2020, 2019 and 2018, Olam Vietnam has been recognized for its strong workplace culture and employee engagement and being named as among Vietnam’s Best Companies to Work for in Asia by the HR Asia Magazine.
