Company Introduction
Established in 2001 with five member companies and one branch, Halcom Vietnam has gradually affirmed its position and its role in the fields of investment and consultancy in urban infrastructure development, hunger eradication and poverty reduction. In consultancy, the company has demonstrated remarkable strengths in its comprehensive products/lump-sum service for a project cycle, as well as geographical experience accumulated during the development stage. Almost 300 consulting contracts have been completed in 50 cities and provinces nationwide, most of which are ODA projects funded by international organizations such as the World Bank, Asian Development Bank, the Japanese International Cooperation Agency and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Finland. In the investment field, Halcom Vietnam focuses on renewable energy, water supply, solid waste-to-energy, transportation & property.

Halcom Vietnam commits to ensure corporate social responsibility in all activities with employee engagement. The company has been joined a long-term national programme Together joining hands for the poor – No one is left behind initiated by Vietnam Fatherland Front to build houses and schools in remote areas and implement social security activities for the poor. The company also joins hands in supporting poor civilians in the central and Mekong Delta provinces such as Binh Dinh, Hau Giang where it runs renewable energy plants.
Achievements and Impact
In the investment field, Halcom Vietnam focuses on renewable energy, water supply, solid waste-to-energy and transportation & property. The Phuong Mai 3 Wind Power Plant in Binh Dinh province, Vietnam – the first wind power operation in the province — marks the company’s first successful step in generating clean energy. The plant was officially integrated into the national electricity grid in January 2020 and achieved the commercial operation date in Q1/2020 after 2 years of construction with a capacity of 21MW.

Future Direction
By 2025, Halcom Vietnam targets to achieve a minimum clean energy capacity of 300 MW with investment focusing on Wind and Solar power, Waste-to-energy, Water supply and Property. In the consulting field, the Company will continuously promote its strengths in ODA projects of infrastructure development, environmental and social safeguard policies, with a target of 100-billion-dong revenue in the Southeast Asia market and 50-billion-dong revenue in the local market.
