Introduction
Transimex Corporation is a leading logistics service provider in Vietnam. The Company was established in 1983 as Transforwarding Warehousing and Forwarding Company, a precursor of Transimex Corporation. With more than 36 years of development in the logistics industry, Transimex provides customers with all logistics solutions ranging from international freight forwarding, warehousing, inland transportation and distribution. International standards and industry expertise are strictly adhered to ensure efficiency and to meet market demand. Moving forward, Transimex will continue to complete the logistics service chain and coordinate with partners to develop integrated and total logistics solutions in order to realize the vision of becoming a leading company providing integrated and total logistics services in Vietnam. In daily operations, Transimex adheres to five core values: “Improvement - Collaboration - Respect - Caring - Responsibility”. This has allowed Transimex to better serve the sustainable economic development of the logistics industry.

Corporate Culture & Company Activities
Transimex regards employees as the company’s greatest asset. As such, the Company continually improves on its organizational structure, trade policies, reward system, welfare and remuneration for employees. Transimex organizes training sessions for new employees to help them integrate and understand the working processes, policies and regulations of the Company. In addition, training courses on the latest management and administration procedures are organized to enhance the capacity of managers and develop successor personnel for the Company. The Company wants its staff to regard the workplace as a place they can feel at home.

Transimex also organizes sports activities such as soccer, tennis and golf to foster ties between employees from different departments and units. In addition, Transimex organizes annual domestic and foreign vacation programs and fully-paid health checks for staff. Transimex works closely with its stakeholders to instil social values among its employees through periodic activities such as religious meetings, floral arrangements competitions and inviting experts to give talks on specific topics and handing out gifts to employees on special occasions. Transimex also issue preferred shares for employees (ESOP). Salary and bonus policies are based on employees’ job position, a rank and position evaluation system and results of job completions.

Future Direction
Transimex’s expansion roadmap incorporates strategies for sustainable development and focuses on the core business of the Company via specific targets. These targets are cooperating with strategic partners to build and develop its container terminal & Logistics business at the Northern Gateway Port (Hai Phong) and southern gateway port area (Cai Mep-Thi Vai) in order to ensure connectivity between its marine transport and its container terminal service chain.

Furthermore, Transimex will invest into building more modern logistics centres at prime areas. The Company also plans to work with others strategic and key partners to develop its market share in the logistics services sector, co-invest to build more logistics infrastructure such as container terminals and modern logistics centres at prime locations.

Transimex also plans to focus on providing total and integrated logistics services on key accounts, especially developing specific logistics like apparel logistics, cold chain logistics and pharmaceutical logistics and strengthening its marketing and branding activities to maintain its leading position in the logistics sector as well as maintaining its position as the Top 10 Transport & Logistics Enterprises, VNR-500.
