Mr. Nguyen Quoc Huy, CEO of Green World Construction & Commercial Corporation is one of the foremost individuals who played a key role in leading his business during a time of stress, and inspired the group to take up the challenges of innovation and rapid growth. He has marked a crucial turning point in the development of Green World.

In eight years of operation, Green World Construction & Commercial Corporation has become a leading enterprise in Vietnam in the field of interior design and construction. Until now, Green World designed and worked for hundreds of the companies and famous brands over the world. Recalling that journey, Mr. Nguyen Quoc Huy, attributed the success to the efforts of the company’s 150 employees.

Administration by Heart, Mind and Talent
With his background as an engineer and his extensive experience in construction and project management, Huy has worked on world-class projects that contributed to the development of the Furniture Industry in Vietnam. In 2014, he joined Green World’s family, helping the company overcome difficulties and encouraged changes to accelerate the Company’s growth. This was seen as an important milestone in Green World’s development journey.

With the business concept “Doing with the heart will touch the heart”, he inspires customers through his reputation and dedication. He regards the success of a project as the success of the whole team. “I regard a strong, creative team as the foundation of high-performing business and a good team ethic as largely accountable for the success and effectiveness of an operation. Each staff is each brick to build a solid base for Green World,” he said.

With his strategic vision, organization of works and friendly lifestyle and passion, he has created a diverse, professional and friendly workplace at which employees can showcase their creativity and given opportunities for promotion and career advancement.

Breakthrough by foresight
Since 2015, Green World has witnessed two important milestones in its development journey. They are carrying out large-scale projects (2015) and undertaking oversea projects (Myanmar in early 2019).

In early 2019, Huy’s bold decision took Green World to the foreign market, marking an important milestone in the Company’s development. He said, “After making the decision to join the first project in Myanmar, I could not sleep and felt very pressured about the resources and local legal procedures. I asked myself whether the company will complete the projects; our employees and workers will be able to undertake the projects in Myanmar as smoothly as in Vietnam; and if I am right coming out of my comfort zone. Now, after the success of the third project in Myanmar, I feel more confident. I now believe that my previous decision was right. This has opened up a big expectation for the company to receive more projects abroad, in Myanmar and other countries. Besides continuing to carry out works in Myanmar, the company will enter the Lao and Cambodian markets.”

Huy believes the future will be fraught with challenges and opportunities and the Company would need a clear vision for the next 5 to 10 years. “I wish that apart from interior design and construction, our company could expand the operation to other fields related to construction, win other projects besides hotels, restaurants or sports centres. But all must be done consistently, so that the company does not fall into crisis in management or finance,” he said.

Huy believes that the passion of everyone at Green World will enable the Company to reach new frontiers, including taking on more projects outside Vietnam. His strategic perspective, careful organisation and affection and friendliness have inspired his staff to work hard and remain faithful to the Company. He is candid with his staff about his working experience, and offers practical lessons in running the business and living positively.

Along with sustainable development, Huy has also dedicated himself to social responsibility. He has awarded many scholarships and given school supplies to help underprivileged students. In addition, he lectures frequently on the topic of practical work experience to students at HCMC University of Architecture and is a regular participant in Terry Fox – raising funds for cancer research.
