Having inherited over 300-year of experiences from Jardine Matheson Group (since 1832) and Schindler Group (since 1874), operated by Jardine Schindler Group (JSG) including Hong Kong and 11 other South-East Asia countries, Schindler Vietnam, established in 1995 in Vietnam, is proud to be the market leader in Vietnam and continuously contribute in JSG’s vision to be Number One in the Region. Its growth is doubled within five years (2013-2018), both in company size and revenue. With newly opened branches in Nha Trang, Schindler Vietnam currently has branches in Ho Chi Minh (Headquarter), Hanoi, Danang, Nha Trang, a Factory in Binh Chieu (Thu Duc, HCMC), and maintenance hubs across the country.

Schindler Vietnam is the first E&E company that introduced a nationwide call center in 2013 to receive callbacks and to dispatch its technicians in a timely manner, as well as to act on its customer’s feedbacks through real-time customer satisfaction survey on various perspectives, with a clear vision of Leadership through Customer Excellence.

“We Elevate”, is a statement that not only does Schindler provides innovative and custom solutions to their customers, but also, provides the opportunity to “Elevate” their employees and the communities that they serve. From 2013-2018, Schindler Vietnam has been able to fulfill 80% of their succession through internal promotions, with over 40% women in leadership positions.

Since 2015, up to present, Schindler Vietnam is listed in 100 Vietnam Best Place to Work. The company remains as the only E&E company on the list, as well as with ranking improvement year on year. Internally, a Schindler Employee Engagement Survey is also launched every two years for its management team to listen to and act on employee’s feedback. They recently launched a Flexibility policy, which allows employees to proactively register working hours under paternity and can take leave for social responsibility activities. Committed to sustainable development of the society where it operates, Schindler Vietnam invested over 2 million US dollar in the first E&E Training Centre in Vietnam, with state-of-the-arts facility and training demonstration. They partnered with Cao Thang Technical College (in the South) and Hanoi College of Technologies (in the North) for apprenticeship program to sponsor a specialised education and train international skillful technician for future workforce readiness.

Recently, Schindler Vietnam, in cooperation with the German Development Investment Corporation (DEG), started their “Return Home Safely campaign” at shopping malls and public areas to educate end-users and children on how to travel safely on elevators, escalators and moving-walk ways. The campaign received a positive response among the community, reaching nearly 5,000 people of all ages across Vietnam.

Schindler was one of the first foreign-owned elevator companies to start operating in Vietnam, back in 1995. It is involved in importing, installing, maintaining and modernizing Schindler elevators and escalators. In 1998, Schindler started its own factory in Vietnam, which produces brackets, beams and builder’s elevators for both local and export purposes.

Schindler Vietnam is headquartered in Ho Chi Minh City with branches in Ha Noi and Da Nang and representatives in Can Tho, Hai Phong and Nha Trang.
