Established in 1997, Digiworld – the leading Market Expansion Services provider in Vietnam – has achieved many successes, especially in the Information and Communications Technology (ICT) sector. With over two decades of building its prestige, Digiworld has become the Market Expansion Services provider and the authorized distributor for more than 30 world renowned technology and consumer brands with a distribution network of 16,000 point of sales and three warehouses nationwide. Digiworld has currently grown to 500 staff in comparison to its initial amount of seven staff since its establishment.

Digiworld’s current business covers two groups, which includes tangible and intangible products, namely:
Trading (wholesaler):

  • ICT: Being No. 1 distribution network nationwide with 6,000 point of sales.
  • Healthcare: Distribution network of 4,000 drugstores/pharmacies.
  • FMCG: Distribution network of 6,000 supermarkets.
Market expansion services (MES):
For foreign and domestic clients who want to expand their markets into Vietnam, including:
  • Market analysis and strategic planning,
  • Marketing execution,
  • Logistics (imports, warehousing, finance and deliver),
  • Distribution
  • After-sales service.

Digiworld’s mission of “Elevating Vietnam” is shown consistently and clearly in its everyday’s work. The Company aims to develop the knowledge, education level, and lives of the Vietnamese community. It does not engage in industries that have negative impacts on the health and spirit of the people, and on the country’s standing. CSR Activities
Every year, Digiworld will organize voluntary activities for its staff. Some of its past activities include serving lunch meals for poor people or patients’ relatives in children hospitals; organizing garage sales of clothes, books, shoes; and setting up Smile Lunch store channels – a nongovernmental organization. Apart from these initiatives, Digiworld have also supported in building bridges for pupils in remote areas, and have given scholarship and laptops to needy freshmen in universities.

The Company has committed itself to focus more on education as its CSR activity for 2018. In alignment to its aim, they have arranged their staff in three regions, namely Ho Chi Minh, Danang and Hanoi to help poor pupils to continuing receiving education.

Furthermore, Digiworld has allocated its fund to renew one classroom and upgrade sewage disposal system to prevent flood in the rising tide. It is the fourth time which Digiworld has given support to the pupils and teachers of the school. The Company has also committed its funds to give three bicycles to outstanding needy pupils whom located far more than 7 km from school in middle region, as well as to give pupils in the Northern Region of Vietnam books, notebooks, stationary, and jackets.

Digiworld’s staff have also donated books, toys, clothes and money to buy health insurance cards for undernutrition pupils. They even appealed to their relatives and friends to donate to increase the health insurance cards. Before the back-to-school day, Digiworld’s staff spent their weekends to help the teachers and pupils to clean up all classrooms and make cookies with pupils. Both teachers and pupils are very happy to welcome a new school year with the new school condition, which can provide them with a better learning condition, rather than sitting on tables to avoid flood.

Achievements and Impact
In 2007, Digiworld hit its milestone by achieving $34 million in revenue and a growth rate of 89%. After nearly a decade in operation, its growth rate increased by 150%, which was three times higher than the industry average. This brought Digiworld to be ranked in the TOP 500 Largest fastest growing enterprises of Vietnam. It has managed to keep its presence in this prestigious chart for ten consecutive years since then.

Despite the slow pace of economic recovery from the 2008 financial crisis, Digiworld which maintained its impressive performances, received an investment from Mekong Capital Fund, which serves as an opportunity for Digiworld to strengthen its capabilities in finance and human resources management. In 2011, the Company managed to hit $115 million in revenue, and continued to expand its distribution network to 6,000 points of sales nationwide until today.

The next significant decision of Digiworld occurred in 2015. The Company was listed on the Hochiminh City Stock Exchange (HOSE: DGW). It was a new chapter of development for Digiworld and it was committed to maintaining the long-term interests for their shareholders through effective business operations and sustainable development. At the same time, Digiworld was also ranked TOP 50 Vietnam Brands by UK’s Brand Finance.

Digiworld’s core strengths comprises of its five valueadded services, namely Market Analysis, Marketing, Sales, Logistics and After−Sales Service. The Company provides top-notch quality services and tailor−made solutions for rapid and effective market penetration and market expansion for brands entering Vietnam’s market. In 2017, Digiworld expanded its service into two new industries – Healthcare and FMCG.

According to the 4Q2017 consolidated financial statements, Digiworld’s accumulated revenues reached VND 3,820 billion and accumulated NPAT reached VND 78.34 billion, exceeding 42% of the business plan. Previously by the end of 3Q17, The Company had already completed the year plan with VND 55 billion net profit.
