Mr. Dang Van Thanh is a President of TTC Group, a Senior Advisor of Thanh Thanh Cong Investment JSC. He is one of the Co-founders and President of Sai Gon Thuong Tin Commercial Joint Stock Bank (Sacombank) for 18 years, leading Sacombank became the Best Vietnam Bank (2006 – 2011) with many outstanding achievements. The charter capital of Sacombank had increased from USD 132,450 (1991) to USD 474 million (2011) with more than 400 outlets and branches in 47/63 provinces of Vietnam.

“A cool head and a warm heart” proved countless outstanding viewpoints made by Mr. Dang Van Thanh that led Sacombank to reach achievements during his period of management. He is aware of every detail of the jobs, especially on training employees. He has guided to build up and be perfect for decoding the “professional executive management” formula from the Director’s Handbook to the Receptionist’s Handbook. He has also trained directly many Sacombank’s key employees, and Sacombank has always been active with its successors that follows the motto: “Keeping the core – Promoting the growth”.

Beside banking finance, he and his wife, Ms. Huynh Bich Ngoc, are Co-founders of TTC Group, formed as Thanh Thanh Cong Alcohol Trader (established in 1979, charter capital USD 4,415 USD, 20 employees). TTC Group currently operates in 5 main industries including Real Estate, Energy, Agriculture, Education and Hospitality with more than 10.000 employees in 26 member companies. In 2017, its charter capital is USD 623 million and its total assets are about USD 2,126 million. Its motto is “For the community, we grow”.

He has participated in many talk shows, presentations as a guest speaker to share his own experience with the community; besides, he makes the reputation and always receive much attention from the press. Hence, he also takes charge of a member of the Founding Board of “Institute of Potential Leaders” Initiative (PACE Institute of Management), and usually holds programs to share his experiences in Administrative – Operation with the young entrepreneurs and employees. Moreover, he is an Honour Professor of Southern California University (USA) and Nguyen Tat Thanh University.

  • Sugarcane TTC: 9 factories, total material area of 60,534 hectares, total capacity of 46,100 tons of sugarcane/day, total output of 614,450 tons accounting for 40% of Vietnam’s market share. TTC’s Sugarcane Segment is doing business in both B2B and B2C with over 20 SKUs in each TSU sugar brand, Bien Hoa sugar brand such as TSU Organic, TSU Diamond, TSU Extra Premium, Bien Hoa Pure, Bien Hoa Pro, Bien Hoa Syrup,…
  • Thanh Thanh Cong Factory: investment capital of USD 20 million, has used Tetra Pak Technology to produce coconut milk for exporting, designing with the capacity of 37 million liters per year.
  • Kobe Vietnam Beef: farms of Japaneses black-fur oxen – Kobe Vietnam Beef with area of 10 hectares, development target is 400 oxen. Cooperating with Japanese experts in distributing quality meat to the domestic market and transferring the breed stock to the domestic farming producers.
EDUCATION: TTC has 17 schools in Kindergarten – Primary school – Secondary School – High School – College and University, including both high quality and international educational system. Moreover, there is a Foreign Language and Informatics Center being belong to TTC Education.
