Introduction
RFS Co., Ltd. (“RFS”) is a well-known organisation which provides end-to-end, one stop services in Healthcare Facility Management (HFM) to hospital and medical centers of Faculty of Medicine Romaphobia Hospital (totalling over 1,500 beds). It is an affiliation to Facility of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital (RAMA), Mahidol university, founded in 2010. RFS is also the first organisation who hosted Thailand’s healthcare facility management seminar for four consecutive years, and distributed knowledge in this field through THFM magazine and website.
The Company aims to be a leader in the healthcare facility management with international standards and a good reference in HFM practice and development for Thailand. Its mission consists of operational excellence – to provide facilities management service at international standard level to the Faculty of Medicine at Ramathibodi Hospital; professional excellence - uplift industry standard in HFM service in Thailand through HFM practice and professional standard; and knowledge and education – to be a center of HFM knowledge and training in Thailand.
Strategic Challenges
RFS aims to establish high standards in HFM services, namely in facility engineering, biomedical engineering management, patient transport, and food services. To expand its business, some of its strategic challenges include the communication of its vision and mission to all stakeholders; rapid expansion of the service scopes to serve the growth of Chakri Naruebodindra Medical Institute; developing its employees for in-time services; and improving customer relationships by delivering the best services for its clients.

Corporate Activities
RFS has organised various CSR activities. In 2018, RFS organised CSR activities under the project repair services for medical equipment used at home, providing knowledge, lifting, moving patients and giving out recipes for making healthy ice cream. In 2018, in collaboration with Somdej Phra Thepparat Medical Center (SDMC), RFS organised CSR activities at the Bangkok School for the blind. In 2019, in collaboration with SDMC, RFS organized CSR activities at Suan Mitsakawan School.
Future Direction
RFS expansion roadmap are as follows; to expand its operation services to serve the effective growth of RAMA; to improve tits quality of service for client’s best interests and benchmark themselves against international standards; to ensure sustainability of quality through being an excellent organisation who commits on continuous improvement (RFS aims to apply for Thailand Quality Award in 2020); and to continue its mission to develop HFM professional standards in Thailand. RFS is currently collaborating with the ministry of public health to promote biomedical engineering standards in Thailand.
