Introduction
Founded in April 2011, Intergold Gold Trade (“Intergold”) was established as an importer and exporter of gold bullion. The Company mainly conducts bullion trading activities and commodity speculations with individual customers and business investors throughout Thailand.

The Company focuses on operating with a customer-centric, results-oriented, open minded, proactive and straightforward mindset. Its vision is to be the first-choice gold brokerage company for investors, by achieving a 90 percent customer retention rate and highly satisfied professional employees. The Company’s mission is to be the best solution for investors’ investment choices as it commits to the ‘Customer Success is Our Priority’ value.

Corporate Culture
Intergold’s corporate culture is built around the ‘Teamwork’ and ‘Trust’ value. The Company believes that teamwork reflects on the working culture of the employees, therefore the management encourages open-minded opinions and practices regardless of position and hierarchy. The management also encourages their employees to be honest and stay humble. Trust from each other to get the job done is the most effective way, therefore being able to react to customers specific demands right on time which is very important in such investment business.

Apart from multiple annual Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) trips and human resources training outside the company, Intergold has recently developed a CSR campaign called ‘Healthy Investment’ to make sure that employees hold this objective in their minds, that is to deliver sustainable ‘Healthy Investment’ to each investor and customer rather than single one-time profit or loss. This is a promise of Intergold’s internal culture that “We always caution about whatever actions we take that might have any effects on its customer’s investment port and, therefore, their lives”.

Achievements and Impact
The management team at Intergold has always strived to achieve sustainable growth for both the Company and its customers. ‘Healthy Investment’ practices are pushed through all work functions in order to make sure that customers start their investing experience with enough knowledge base and have a sustainable investing mindset, therefore, having a long-term investment vision rather than opting for short-term risky profits. By designing the Company’s operation strategies around a ‘customer-centric’ mindset, Intergold customise its services to respond to each customer’s investing need and demand.

With all these strategies, customers feel more comfortable and personalised. Therefore they connect Intergold as a ‘friend’, not just only a broker-investor relationship. Word-of-mouth and references have been spread and has, thus, resulted in the Company’s continuous growth for these recent consecutive years i.e. 117% revenue growth in 2018, as compared to 2017. The number of employees also increased to 58 headcounts; and office expansion, from only Intergold headquarters, to its extended branch at Seacon Bangkae Bangkok, and Intergold Singapore for future AEC market expansion.

Future Direction
With strong customers’ support and passion to develop further, Intergold Gold Trade’s management has planned to grow its business and market base via many investments on many areas, including;

  • Marketing – Branding activities, both to promote the Intergold brand and to communicate more of ‘Healthy Investment’ campaign to its current and potential customers.
  • IT – Applications, online trading system and artificial intelligence are to further develop and moving ahead of customers need. Customers will be able to access all services and information they require in order to trade more efficiently.
  • Human Resources – People development is another area where Intergold always makes sure of. Not only about their job-related skills trainings, employees’ well-being and working environment are also important. 2019-2020 will be the year of Intergold office renovation to improve people’s working conditions with the theme ‘to make our office home’ concept.
  • Business Partners Development – To develop key partners in key provinces in order to synergise its current resources and produce better services, such as distribution channel, to better serve its customers.
The Company has recently prepared its expansion to serve neighbouring countries by setting up its Singapore-based entity under the same brand, Intergold. This is a major step forward for the Company to grow internationally.
