Capt. Ahkasit Subcharoen is the CEO of ACX Group company and has been in the marine business for over eight years. He is the Master Mariner for ocean cargo vessel. Capt. Ahkasit then started a cordyceps farm in his own land since 2012 with his younger brother. Currently, he is the managing director of ACX Group with five sister companies.

Capt. Ahkasit founded ACX Herb Co., Ltd. in 2016. The company is the farm manufacturer for cordyceps materials. The company covers the full manufacturing process, from upstream, midstream, downstream, aquaculture, and has a farm to teach product development. Its cultivation plant is in Prachinburi Province, a city of herbs and suitable climate.

Moreover, he also signed a memorandum of understanding with King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok for researching and developing cordyceps products. All Cordyceps products are of international high standard under ISO 9001:2015 and has obtained the Halal certificate.

Capt. Ahkasit shares “If you feel discouraged every time you fail, look for the support of your family and try again.” In this case, he has tried more than 1000 times for good test report and finally managed to discover a new species of white cordyceps. Research has shown that the white cordyceps contain three important organic substances that are several times higher than the golden cordyceps, including beta-glucan, glutathione, and SOD.

The entrepreneur believes in the careful selection of cordyceps species. He ensures total care throughout the culture period until it reaches the stage of production in accordance with good manufacturing practice standards, which allows food production to be safe.

Under Capt. Ahkasit’s leadership, ACX Herb Company Limited currently has the largest mushroom cultivation area in Thailand. He is determined and dedicated in doing his research to develop his company’s products. Furthermore, he also searches for modern production technology and standards to get the highest quality product from the market to his consumers.

Capt. Ahkasit believes that to help people, one has to produce top quality products and businesses. This result in his determination to continually cultivate the golden and white cordyceps species.

Future Plans
Capt. Ahkasit’s plans for the future of his company are to develop health and integrity; to develop the cordyceps research and discover new important substances by using modern technology to achieve high yields and standardisation; to raise the level of research and development of rental property in Thailand in the new tropics to be an innovation; to promote revenue generation for his agents; to provide knowledge to people in the area and those interested in accessing cultivation methods. He also hopes to become the leader of cordyceps farm in Asia.
