In her journey as a trailblazing global entrepreneur, Ms. Teo Jin Lee's career embodies passion and adaptability. As the Founder and Managing Director of ODE Consulting Pte Ltd, she transformed her dream of wanting to make a difference in people's lives into a global enterprise to effect change in organizations and individuals/teams.

Upon graduating from the National University of Singapore, Ms. Teo Jin Lee's career pivoted when she joined IBM Singapore. Her passion for education was reignited at IBM’s Asia Pacific Entry Level Training Centre, where she cut her teeth in training and consulting, setting her on a new path.

Ms. Teo Jin Lee has been guided by the advice of the former IBM Singapore Managing Director who said "No one owes you a living, you owe it to yourself to build your marketability". She later founded SMG Training Systems in 1996, just before the Asian Economic Crisis. Despite facing multiple major global and regional crises, her resilience and commitment to making a difference became the cornerstone of her success. In 2003, she expanded to China, and in 2015, re-branded the company to ODE Consulting Pte Ltd (ODE Consulting®) to reflect a focus on organizational development excellence.

Under her leadership, ODE Consulting® invested in technological advancements; developing the award-winning learn1thing® platform (a one-stop-shop learning marketplace), the Outcomes Measurement Portal™, online games, and computer-based simulations, and acquired the Hofstede Culture in the Workplace Questionnaire™ in 2018. Today, ODE Consulting® operates globally with a mission to accelerate business results by enabling transformation and embedding culture. Ms. Teo Jin Lee's vision includes continued investment in digital offerings and global partnerships.

Her leadership, characterized by innovation and strategic growth, remains focused on future-proofing leaders and driving transformation. Ms. Teo Jin Lee's leadership is characterized by her ability to inspire a nimble, dedicated, and passionate team. The company now has an office based in Shanghai, China with partners across the globe.

In 2011, ODE Consulting® launched the Outcomes Measurement Portal (OMP™), revolutionizing how clients measure the ROI of their learning initiatives. This innovative tool (funded by the Singapore government) provided a tangible method for organizations to track the effectiveness and impact of their training programs, setting a new standard in the industry. Between 2016 and 2022, ODE Consulting® continued to pioneer advancements in the learning and development sector. The company developed computer-based simulations, which provided an interactive and immersive learning experience for clients.

This period also saw the launch of learn1thing®, a Virtual Learning Platform and learning marketplace that brought flexibility and accessibility to professional development solutions. Additionally, the company celebrated its 25th anniversary in 2021 and unveiled the groundbreaking P.R.I.M.E Avobot®, a social learning and coaching platform characterized by its offering of a private, safe, and anonymous space for growth conversations to take place. By 2024, an enhanced version of Avobot® was released, providing an even greater transformative coaching experience.
