MSPL, which started as a tower manufacturer in 1960, has grown significantly under Mr. Gaurav's leadership. He joined the company as a trainee in 2002 and quickly proved his capabilities, leading to his promotion to Executive Director within two years, then Deputy Managing Director, and later Joint Managing Director.
As the current Managing Director, Mr. Gaurav introduced essential systems like ERP and design software such as BOCAD, laying the groundwork for a technologically advanced organization. He continued to innovate by installing an integrated solar plant for in-house electricity usage and introducing CNC machines, greatly improving the company's efficiency. Mr. Gaurav also started new verticals in solar, railway electrification, EPC, and a comprehensive water harvesting system, diversifying MSPL's offerings and expanding its market reach.

Today, MSPL stands as the only tower manufacturing company in operation for six decades, boasting numerous national and international awards. It was one of the first to supply 400 KV multi-circuit towers, 765 KV towers, 220 KV substations, and 400 KV substations. To date, the company has designed, supplied, and erected up to 5000 km of mobile tower networks and 3000 plus circuit km of transmission line network in various voltages. Its diverse product line includes transmission line towers, railway OHE structures, substation structures, microwave towers, and solar structures.
Under Mr. Gaurav's leadership, MSPL has seen impressive financial growth. The company achieved a 29.61% growth in the period of FY 2021-22 to FY 2022-23. In FY 2023-24, the turnover made a further 16.39% increase from the previous year. Mr. Gaurav's strategic vision and relentless drive have been crucial in positioning MSPL as a leading player in the industry, poised for continued success and expansion.
Vision, Mission & Future Plans
The vision of the company is to be “Powering a Billion Dreams” with quality and affordable electricity, focusing on being the best rather than being the biggest.MSPL has been under continual expansion, catering to hundreds of clients, including reputed names like Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd., Tata Projects Ltd., Megha Engineering, Aparva Energy Ltd., Sterlite, Adani, Tanesco, BSNL, and Reliance Jio. Its products have reached over 15 countries, including Tanzania, Burkina Faso, Nepal, Oman, Bhutan, and regions in Africa.
Currently, MSPL is expanding its presence in Africa and some regions in the Middle East. Within the next two years, the company plans to go overseas, establishing a manufacturing facility in the Middle East to serve the Middle East and African regions.
The one piece of advice that Mr. Gaurav lives by and would like to give to entrepreneurs is "To never give up. There will always be setbacks, but if you stay determined, you can achieve your goals."
