Vannee Leelavechbutr may be petite in stature but is big in tenacity. Her love for taking on challenging projects began since she was young. At the age of 15, Vannee successfully organised a charity ball at her high school and raised half a million baht for the Thai Red Cross. Her passion for initiating new ideas and projects was ignited then and she went on to study at the Faculty of Communication Arts at Thailand’s prestigious Chulalongkorn University.After graduation, Vannee started her career with PRESKO, a top public relations agency. Realising PR activities alone will not generate the highest impact, she initiated different promotional methods to communicate her story. Her idea of “Poster with a happy boy drinking milk” for a dairy client was a huge success which led to the start of a new Production Department at the company where she worked. One notable accomplishment while working at PRESKO was organising the launch of “New Horizon from NEC” which featured the “Universe” theme comprising a timelapse tunnel showcasing the past, present and future.

Later in her career, Vannee joined JWT and founded JWT’s PR Unit (currently Verve) where she successfully created and managed reputation building campaigns for a wide range of clients from all industries, from local government agencies to companies listed in the international Fortune 500’s.My meaning of success is being a person of value.

Vannee founded Neo Target in 2002, a PR agency which provided
reputation consulting, content and strategy to clients. Neo Target
was one of the first agencies to use advertorials in newspapers.
Vannee and her team spent more than three years researching
on how to adjust Neo Target’s business model into a Reputation
Consulting Firm to meet their diverse clients’ needs. The company
successfully created a strategic tool called “Repu Dimension” and
applied it for managing reputation building campaigns for a wide
range of clients.
Foreseeing that regionalisation is the trend of the future, Neo Target entered an alliance with Mileage Communications group to reach out to 10 Asian countries. The group, headquartered in Singapore, currently has 16 offices in 10 countries.
Understanding the significance of brand recognition for business growth, Vannee led Neo Target to form Gravy Marketing Consulting Group, an alliance of marketing-related companies specialising in branding, research, crisis management, creative design and production. Judging from the recent performance of the company’s growth, providing a wide spectrum of professional services to fulfil customers’ needs was an excellent step for Neo Target.
