He is the Founder, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Fredley Group of Companies, a master franchise collection of 250 restaurant and café branches operating nationwide with 9 separate concepts in the company portfolio, including Macao Imperial Tea, Nabe Japanese Izakaya and Hot Pot, Mitasu Yakiniku, New York Fries & Dips, Liang Crispy Rolls, Café Kitsuné and Maison Kitsuné.Unknown to many, Avin once packed and assembled hangers to help his family make a living. He got himself into tutoring at the age of 7, and even dabbled in the food and beverage industry as early as high school, selling fruit shakes at the nearby wet market.

The entrepreneur sets the Company’s Vision and takes the lead when it comes to brand acquisition, oversees the company’s growth from operations to expansion to bringing in new brands. He works with the Research and Development team to make sure that they are constantly making changes and improvements. He looks into process re-engineering to make sure they adapt to the changing environment through technology and digitalisation. He oversees the profits and expenses of the company on a daily basis.Fredley Group of Companies will acquire more brands in order to open more branches and provide more job opportunities for the Filipinos and to be an IPO by 2025. The company wants to strengthen the presence of Fredley Foundation in their community. FGC aims to provide the best quality and service to the customers, to be the leading, if not number 1 player in the food service industry and to stay as a game changer.
Avin shared, “Entrepreneurship is not something easy. Success cannot happen just overnight. Although it is not easy, it is going to be worth it. As an entrepreneur, you just have to keep fighting, persevere, work hard, stay creative and adaptable to the changing environment.”
