Role of the Entrepreneur
Under her leadership and entrepreneurship for the past 16 years,
the company Brandt International, which she founded in 2004, has
grown and now employs more than 1000 workforce in Malaysia
with a low attrition of less than 10%. Currently Brandt is present in
Singapore, Jakarta and Manila.
For 11 years between 2009 to 2020, Brandt International has achieved a Compound Annual Growth Rate of 29% with three delivery centres in Malaysia. Brandt also services clients in Singapore, Hong Kong, China and Australia. Brandt’s clients include high-growth internet companies and multinational companies (MNCs). In 2020, Dato’ Munirah and her team navigated the COVID-19 pandemic and achieved a 35% year-over-year (YOY) revenue growth with the highest recorded revenue of US$11 million. She successfully raised RM2 million from Equity Crowdfunding Malaysia (ECF) at a pre-money equity value of RM45 million early this year. In 2021, she secured strategic partnerships in Cambodia, Vietnam and US as part of new markets expansion plans.
Vision, Mission & Future Plans
Buoyed by the outstanding performance in 2020 and successfully meeting financial targets in Q12021, Dato’ Munirah has reset the company’s growth ambition and plans to achieve a company valuation exceeding RM200 million by 2023.
