The Fredley Group of Companies is a Philippine-based master franchise collection of over 250 restaurant and café branches operating nationwide with more than 2,000 employees and 9 separate brands. Brand portfolio includes Macao Imperial Tea, Nabe Japanese Izakaya and Hot Pot, Mitasu Yakiniku, New York Fries & Dips, Hosaku International Buffet, 107 Co-Working by Macao Imperial Tea, Liang Crispy Rolls, Café Kitsuné and Maison Kitsuné.

Corporate Culture and Initiatives

In a span of 7 years, the company has now 5 subsidiaries with over 2,000 employees. From 37 operational branches in 2018, it now has over 250 branches nationwide. The company launched the first of many in the Philippines, a hotpot concept that serves more than 24 soup bases, an international buffet with a 171-meter long conveyer, milk tea drinks in reusable cups and tumblers, ParTea gallon and a portable hotpot and yakiniku. An e-store was launched to cater to the customers at the comfort of their homes. There is also a customer loyalty programme wherein customers can gain points and rebates and there are over 5,000 Elite card members.

When the first COVID-19 lockdown was announced in 2020, the group immediately distributed more than 3,000 cups of milk tea and packed foods to the front liners.

The Fredley Group of Companies is committed to provide training to employees to develop and hone their skills. It aims to make employees more competent in the field of their expertise. The company has developed a system to help employees grow within the company and they now have a customised accounting and a human resource information system. They also conduct 1-1 weekly meetings with the department to address any concerns. In addition, the company conducts yearly strategic planning to discuss shortterm and long-term goals.

Future Direction

In future, the company will acquire more brands and will have 300 operating branches to provide more than 3,000 jobs by the end of 2021. It also targets to be ISO certified by 2023 and to be a publicly listed company by 2025. Fredley Group of Companies will be an industry benchmark for innovative restaurant concepts, and overall premium dining experience through exceptional products, operations, customer service, technology and employee engagement.
