The expansion of MODE Medical Clinic was to fill the gap in the medical aesthetics market whereby most providers are focusing on laser-based treatments which gave rise to multiple laser chains in the market. There’s been a lack of providers in Singapore with well-honed techniques from Korea specialising in non-invasive facial augmentation by fillers and thread lifts. Even though fillers are available here, most current doctors are trained primarily by American instructors and lack the Asian touch. Thread lift was not very pervasive in Singapore either since most doctors are focused on lasers, chemical peels etc. That’s when MODE decided to set up a medical aesthetics arm that focuses on filler injectable, face, nose and body thread lifts.
