The story of KJL began in 1988 with a small garage factory established by Mr. Kasemsan’s parents, Mr. Karoon Sujiwarodom and Mrs. Kanya Sujiwarodom. This marked the start of the first generation's entrepreneurial venture. The company then expanded into an industrial factory and relocated to Samut Sakhon in 1996, officially establishing 'Kijcharoen Engineering Electric Co., Ltd.' This was when the company started manufacturing electrical cabinets, cable trays, and equipment used in electrical installations. In 2001, it also began importing new machinery from Japan to increase production capacity and standards.

In 2012, the company expanded by creating its own brand, 'KJL'. This marked the beginning of a corporate revolution into a new era, focusing on the development of products, services, and marketing strategies to meet the needs of modern customers and markets. "We clearly began using Market Transformation strategies in 2011 by leading the company with a marketing approach. During that time, we separated the KJL brand creation from being a manufacturer or factory to clearly distinguish the products and branding,” said Mr. Kasemsan.

KJL’s customers include distributors, electrical supply stores, contractors, and electricians. The company has the KJL Network of 800-1,000 locations spread across the country, which it supports with the 'KJL Now' service—stock ready for immediate delivery, urgent orders fulfilled quickly, and same-day delivery for orders placed in the morning. The company is ready to provide the same level of service across all levels with consistent standards.

In 2022, KJL transitioned into a public company after being listed on the MAI (The Market for Alternative Investment) stock exchange.
