In the journey of achieving its vision and mission, the most challenging obstacle that the company has ever experienced is sustaining its operations during the Covid-19 outbreak where the global population was affected socially and economically. When surrounding businesses collapsed and ceased production, Polymeric Technology Sdn Bhd was able to pull through by engaging closely with existing and potential customers and restructuring its plan of action in managing the company.

The company was established in 2004 with one employee, producing resin with toll manufacturing, working with its self-supplied raw materials, formulas, and manufacturing process. Since then, Polymeric Technology Sdn Bhd has set up its own manufacturing plant with six production lines, featuring high-temperature and low-temperature reactors for condensation polymerization and radical polymerization. Polymeric Technology Sdn Bhd has expanded its business worldwide with a presence through distributors in Vietnam, Thailand, Philippines, Indonesia, Taiwan, South Korea, China, and India, as well as through representatives in Italy.Polymeric Technology Sdn Bhd has also registered its product brand name and logo, producing more than 100 types of coating resins for various applications. The company has achieved a breakthrough with its thixotropic resin technology that produces metallic coatings with no-leafing metallic pigment, which can be applied with a paintbrush or roller.
Polymeric Technology Sdn Bhd has earned recognition from prestigious awards and standards. It proudly boasts ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001, and 45001 standards for QMS, EMS, and OHSMS, delivering top-tier products and services to customers worldwide.
In order to remain suitability and stay in a technology-oriented direction, Polymeric Technology Sdn Bhd has set up the Polymer Innovation Lab, the Coating Development Lab, and the Analytical Lab equipped with advanced scientific analytical equipment. This has allowed the organization to acquire the ability to perform tests to analyze the performance of its resin. These enhanced capabilities are not only limited to the innovation of resin technology but are also used to guide the development of downstream applications.

Polymeric Technology Sdn Bhd aims to be one of the leading organizations in polymer evolution and innovation.Therefore, Polymeric Technology Sdn Bhd has been focused on producing environmentally friendly coating products, aiming to reduce the global CO² emissions. The company has already taken note of how water-based, low-VOC (volatile organic compound) coating resins and bio-based coating resins are becoming more prevalent.
Polymeric Technology Sdn Bhd is also exploring ways to incorporate renewable materials and implement recycling and circular economy practices. The company will also be doing more to promote R&D efforts aimed at innovating new products or improving existing ones using recycled or bio-based materials.
