Ang Lee Leong, aged 54, the Founder and Managing Director of Yew Lee Pacific, singlehandedly developed the company to what it is today – Yew Lee Pacific Manufacturer, one of the Top 3 industrial brush manufacturers in Malaysia. Ang was born in Ipoh, Perak along with 2 other younger siblings. Ang came from a poor family. His father was a hawker selling bamboo juices while his mother worked as a scrub sewing nurse. Those early day hardships sparked his dream of becoming a successful entrepreneur that can give his family a good life.After completing his secondary education, Ang started working as a normal trading salesman. Soon after, he decided to take a step forward to open his own trading company. The business did not start off good and he faced a lot of criticism from people who did not believe that the business would succeed. But Ang was determined to ensure the company survived and saw the potential for a market for industrial brushes, and invested in machines to manufacture industrial brushes.
