PT Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk., was established by virtue of Law No. 19 of 1960 in conjunction with Government Regulation No. 64 of 1961 dated 29 March 1961 concerning the establishment of the State Company “Wijaya Karya”.Corporate Culture
WIKA began as a company engaging in electrical and plumbing installation work, and in the 70s, shifted into becoming a civil and building construction company. Through Initial Public Offering (IPO) in the Indonesia Stock Exchange on 27 October 2007, WIKA released 28.46 percent of its shares to the public, while the Government of the Republic of Indonesia owns the rest. The funds received from the IPO has helped WIKA to be more flexible in its growth and development. One of the strength of WIKA lies in its human capital. Most of the employees are in their early 20s to 30s and are developed to support company’s transformation. WIKA has WIKAPRATAMA as learning center prepare the young generation of WIKA to take structural and functional positions and WIKASATRIAN to as leadership training center. Now, WIKA is known for bringing great people entrusted with leadership position in WIKA also various Indonesia State Owned Company.The Company continues to take various anticipative and innovative measures to help its development, resulting in its strong position amidst national and global crisis. WIKA business activities are focused on optimising 7 (seven) business lines. With product diversification offered by each business line, WIKA excels in being able to seize every opportunity in the market. Construction and Highrise Building as it’s midstream business is supported by downstream business providing various product and services related to construction industry mainly driven its subsidiary companies.

Achievements and Impact
WIKA has experienced tremendous growth over the last three year from 2017 – 2019 with 33% CAGR. Apart from being known as the leading EPC Company in Indonesia, WIKA is now working in 10 countries spread across Asia and Africa and successfully show the world the quality of Indonesia. Some portfolio of WIKA including Soekarno – Hatta International Airport and Kertajati International Airport which are respectively the first and second largest airport in Indonesia, MRT Jakarta as the first MRT in Indonesia and Jatiluhur Dam as the largest modern dam in Indonesia. WIKA’s current project includes Jakarta Bandung High Speed Rail as the first High Speed Rail in Indonesia, Kijing Port, Mempawah as the biggest Port in Kalimantan Island, and Serang – Panimbang Toll Road. WIKA is also working on Renovation of Presidential Palace of Niger, MRT Station in Taiwan and Multifunction Sports Complex in Solomon.Future Direction
