Dato’ Sri Liew Kok Leong holds Bachelor of Science (Distinction) in Electronic & Electrical Engineering from Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen, United Kingdom and Master of Science in Communication Systems from University of Wales, Swansea, United Kingdom. He has more than 20 years of experience in Information Technology, manufacturing, telecommunication, property development and ventures capital investment.

He joined ARB in 2018 as Executive Director of ARB Berhad, tasked with overseeing the IT segment of the Group and was actively involved in business developments and technology applications. He was the key person in leading the business of ARB in the inactive timber segment turning it into a dynamic technology solution service and successfully turning it around to achieve significant revenue since 2018. He is a true entrepreneur in every sense because of his hard work, extraordinary ability to predict the future and his willingness to never hold himself back from the challenges. With his aims and visions, he had successfully led ARB to astonish achievements and significant revenue growth.

Dato’ Sri Liew Kok Leong has successfully brought ARB to the next level of rapid growth with significant increment in revenue and expanding its technology business to overseas markets. In 2019, ARB was featured in The Star online corporate news with the title “ARB posts RM12.8mil net profit in Q4”. The improved result was driven primarily by the IT business.

Dato’ Sri Liew Kok Leong believes that without talented employees, the company will not be able to meet to its vision and mission. He strives to continuously enhance the benefits and well-being of employees and ensure that their well-being is taken care of regardless of their job category. He constantly reviews employees’ performance to ensure they are rewarded when KPIs are met. In return, the company is able to attract new talents and retain existing ones.

In August 2019, ARB expanded its overseas business to Cambodia to provide a customised Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system and solutions. The ERP system assists business partners to accurately map inventory assortments against consumer preferences and seasonal trends across their operations.
