Dr.Channarong Tachaungkoon, Managing Director of Millimed Co., Ltd. He obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Bsc. in Pharmacy, at Chiangmai University. After his Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy, he pursued his graduate studies at Eastern Asia University in Master Business Administration. He also holds an honorary degree of Management and Leadership; Open System Leadership University, at Pacific Rim Institute, USA. Not only he is successful in graduation and his career, but also in his personal life thus he received National Sample Father 2017 Awards.

He always participates in social responsibility activities and charities, such as being a President of Rotary Club of Wangthonglang for year 2018-2019. He also invited as a speaker by various companies and organizations regarding to Pharmaceutical Line both in Thailand and ASEAN.

Millimed also believes in investing in education so it offers opportunities for young generation over Thailand by sponsored scholarships for Medical Students until they are graduated.

Fact’s and Achievements
In 2000, Millimed Co., Ltd. acquired Bayer Laboratories Manufacture, and then acquired Glaxo Wellcome Vidhayasom Manufacture in year 2003. Acquiring these two Manufacturers, Millimed got know how from them; therefore, that make Millimed was the most modern factory in Thailand at that time. Both are located in Samutprakarn, Thailand.

Millimed Co., Ltd. is authorized to manufacture pharmaceutical products, food supplements and cosmetics under its own brand and brands of other firms (OEM). Every product is under strict supervision from experienced and licensed pharmacists to ensure compliance with international standards and regulations, including GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) in line with WHO (World Health Organization) and PIC/S (Pharmaceutical Inspection Co- operation Scheme)

Millimed is success in increasing sales in 2 digits every year continuously 5 years under Dr.Channarong’s management. He is also won many national awards such as Example Person from the Business Sector of Medical and Personal Use Foundation of Science and Technology Council of Thailand in 2014. Millimed is also awarded as one of “Thailand Top SME Awards 2017” in the Fast-Growing Business of the Year 2017 category, jointly organized by Business+ magazine by ARIP Pcl., The University of Thai Chamber of Commerce and Small and Medium Enterprise Development Bank of Thailand (SME Bank)

In December 2017, Millimed received Quality Award of the year 2018 from Thai FDA, Minister of Public Health. The awards are given to an entrepreneur who products that meet the standards set by the law which products are quality and safe for consumers with no contamination and proper advertising as well as provides complete factual information. This award is also proving that its entrepreneur has a social responsibility, the moral and ethical in doing business which is another pride and honor to provide consumers with quality products.

In 2018, Denta Dente®, its organic herbal fluoride toothpaste, one of Millimed quality’s product has won a Prime Minister Herbal Awards 2018 and also won a Prime Minister’s Export Award 2018 in category Best Exporter giving by the Ministry of Commerce, Royal Thai Government, as an honorable accolade to the country’s outstanding exporters in the same year. The Award’s primary objective is to invigorate Thai economy through brand creation, product development, and high quality standards in the manufacturing and service industries. This award helps to inspire and encourage Thai entrepreneur to establish an international presence under Thai brand names with Thai designs. It also helps to promote a positive image of Thai organizations and reputation of Thai products and service on a global scale.
