Mr.Rut Jiroajvanichakorn is the Founder and Managing Director of MICE & Communication, the experts in Event Organization including meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions also specializing in IT companies and now expand to Sport Management Company.

Rut was born in Hat Yai, Songkhla in the Southern of Thailand and had studied there since kindergarten to high school. He chose to continue studying Bachelor degree at Faculty of Engineering, Chulalongkorn University in the major of Mechanical Engineering and Master of Business Administration, Chulalongkorn University. During studying Master degree, he set up his own company called I Am Marketing Co., Ltd. with his own capital collected during studying. After that he spin off the event’s department to a new company. MICE & Communication was established to serve the IT and technology conference and seminar for both public and private sectors. This is very successful and has got trustfulness from many large IT enterprises more than 15 years.

In 2015, MICE & Communication stepped forward to organize the first running event called Bangsaen21 Half Marathon which was voted to be Thailand number 1 running event for 3 years consecutive (Year 2015, 2016 & 2017). In 2017, running events organized by MICE & Communication has been in Thailand Top 10 for 9 places. In May 2018, Bangsaen21 was awarded IAAF Bronze Label Road Race by the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) for the 21.1km half marathon, the first and only races in Thailand.

In present, MICE & Communication is in process to be MAI registered company in Stock Market of Thailand. Founded in 2003 by Mr.Rut, MICE & Communication organizes 40-50 events a year and welcomes up to 1,000 people to each event. 2015 is a challenging year for the company because it has turned towards sport management company. The two businesses are completely different, as Mice events are work for hire in which we have to follow our customer’s demand and styles, but the race is our own direction and design.

Revolution the quality of Thai running has been in mind of Mr.Rut, ever since he became a marathoner five years ago.

MICE & Communication has become known globally after Bangsaen21 was awarded IAAF Road Race Bronze Label by the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) for the 21.1km half marathon in May 2018. Bangsaen21 is Thailand’s first and only race certified by IAAF and only the second race in South East Asia to win certification. (Singapore Marathon was awarded Gold Label)

The most important thing for Thailand’s races is that the IAAF labels can be a key magnet to attract runners worldwide to visit the country for running with their families, so the world-class standard can put Thailand on the map as one of running’s hotspots.

Mr. Rut start his first race in 2013 with 42.195km Marathon distance, from a person who never race before in any distance. On the third year, his passion was to organize the best running event without realizing that doing what he passionate about will take the company to the newest growing business segment and that all start from Bangsaen21. From that day onward MICE transform its business to become the top running event organizer in Thailand.

Mr. Rut passion combined his life, his work, his health altogether. The longest distance he races was Hong Kong 100 km Ultra Marathon, he attends this race for two consecutive years. He shares that racing the long distance is like doing meditation and a great way to practice mental health.

The title of Race Director mostly holds by former elite athlete, very wise experience in athletic. But for Mr. Rut, he seems like a weekend runner. He knows that there is no quick course to be a Race Director, so he took his organizer knowledge and experience in MICE & IT segment and adapting his experience to organize the race with Learning by Doing and by his vision for dream race.
