Hj. Mohd Zaidi Bin ILamdin was graduated in the field of Nuclear Science from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM). He have been working in a Polyethylene Theraptalite (PET) Production Plant (Oil and Gas) for 6 years as a Process Engineer. He was exposed as a young engineer with the latest best process and engineering system in the world of that time with technology by Zimmer AG from Germany. We kept the PET (plastic polymer) at 320 degree celcius in several reactor and piping using pipe jacketing system heated with hot thermal oil. The polymer was pumped through with positive displacement pump at differrent stage until the last reactor where the level of the PET in the reactor is measured using gamma source in the centre of the reactor for level measurement purpose. He also have learned about, exposed, operated and maintained a lot of different facilities and blessed to be exposed to this kind of working experiences and engineering systems at that very early age of my career.

By end of 1996, he have moved on to work as a Sales Engineer in Spirax Sarco Malaysia covering all the industries area in the region of Shah Alam, Pahang, Terengganu, Kelantan, Sabah , Sarawak and also Brunei. It was his dream come true for me to really be working as the system expert for a world class company. Spirax Sarco is the biggest steam and heating control products manufacturer in the world. He was promoted direct (by passing the Sr Sales Engineer position) to the Regional Executive position specialising in Oil and Gas industry within 2 years. He was in Spirax Sarco for a period of 6 years before he decided to fully shift focus on my own company Jana Tanmia Resources Sdn Bhd. The customer list that he has been servicing starting from MLNG Bintulu, Petronas Gas and BP Amoco to name a few.

Hj. Mohd Zaidi bin ILamdin is Managing Director for Jana Tanmia Resources Sdn Bhd since April 1996. He has more than 25 years’ experience in the Facility Maintenance Management and Asset Management, Energy Management, Energy Efficiency. He also Vice President of the Malaysia Asset & Project Management Association (MAPMA) and also President of Persatuan Kontraktor Pakar Bumiputera Malaysia. His name has been recommended to Department of Standard Malaysia (DSM) to Chair the ISO PC-251 Asset Management for Malaysia by MAPMA and is the Chair of the Certification and Competency Committee in MAPMA and has also been involved in the ISO PC251-ISO Committee in finalising the ISO 55001 Asset Management documents which has successfully been launched in last 2014 January. He also represents MAPMA for ISO/TC267– Working Group in Facilities Management at Department Standards Malaysia. Mr. Zaidi have been Certified in Authorised Person for Healthcare HVAC from BTEC, UK on 2015. He is also the President for Malaysia Chapter of AEE (Association of Energy Engineers), President of International Facility Management Association (IFMA) Malaysia Chapter and is also the President of Persatuan Kontraktor Pakar Bumiputra Malaysia ( PaKAR).

Jana Tanmia Resources Sdn Bhd is a company focusing on business in the area of Facility Management and Mechanical Electrical contracting. As a company specializing in the area of FM, Jana Tanmia Resources Sdn Bhd has been involved in numerous projects such FM at Putrajaya Government Quarters, Mechanical and Electrical maintenance for 9 hospital in Sabah for 13 years, Cleaning Services for 13 hospitals is Sabah, maintenance of air conditioning system for Hospital Tengku Ampuan Afzan, Kuantan dan Hospital Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah , Temerloh, maintenance of air conditioning system for 16 Government hospital in Perak region, FM for 63 building of Pos Malaysia for the region of Selangor and Kuala Lumpur and also maintenance of Air Conditioning system for Proton Plant at Shah Alam and Tanjung Malim.
