Hiep Phuoc Industrial Park Company (HIPC) was established in June 2007, with A total area 1.686 ha. This strategic location is prioritized to develop the port industry of Ho Chi Minh city, and equipped modern infrastructure with essential conditions for investors to strengthen competence and push production. The zone has outstanding strengths to build various competitive advantages.

HIPC has internal traffic system with eight lanes (four lanes finished in stage 01), which connects directly to the national street South - North HCMC. 18km away from the center of Ho Chi Minh city, travel time 40 minutes. 15km away from the new urban area Phu My Hung, travel time 30 minutes. 25km away from Tan Son Nhat International Airport, travel time 60 minutes. 40 km away from Long Thanh International Airport, travel time 30 minutes. Easily approach provinces in Mekong Delta area via ring road number 3 & 4 of HCMC as well as the intercity waterway of the South.

The Company is located along with Soai Rap river which is the main direction of ocean freight (the largest and shortest) to connect HCMC to the East sea. This is also the location of Hiep Phuoc port of HCMC which belongs to the group of sea ports number five (HCMC - Dong Nai - Ba Ria Vung Tau) as organized by the government. The location is not only ideal for import and export activities, but also supports the traffic of domestic waterway between Mekong Delta area and the East South of Vietnam. There are three international ports operating in HIPC: Tan Cang - Hiep Phuoc port (15 ha), Saigon Premier Container Terminal - SPCT (40 ha), Saigon - Hiep Phuoc port (54 ha). In the future, all inner-city ports will be relocated to Hiep Phuoc port (approximately 384.7 ha), and together with HIPC (stage 3, approximately 392,8 ha), this location is zoning as the Central Logistic which is the center of transportation and shipping of the entire area.
