Founded in 2006, WPG has more than 15 years of experience in providing professional logistics services and building logistics infrastructure under the LIC (Logistics Industrial Cluster). LIC is a complex, closed ecosystem between production areas (industrial parks, factories), storage areas (off-airport cargo terminal, bonded warehouse, cold storage warehouse), and transportation center (international port, Inland container depot).

WPG helps solve the problem of logistics costs as well as optimize the time and human resources for the business. Understanding domestic tastes and international trends, WPG is expanding its market, not only in Vietnam but also in the region and the world.

There are several strengths of WPG’s LIC. Its key locations are located on traffic arteries (railway, road, airline). Besides, its land fund is relatively large and suitable for a complex and synchronous planning strategy. It also focuses on applying modern technology in managing and operating. It works hard to optimize costs, time, and human resources.

Every Western Pacific project always focuses on environmental protection through practical and specific activities such as using renewable energy in the warehouse roof system. It is in the process of cooperating with several corporations from Japan in providing Net Zero Carbon certificates, committing to reduce emissions to zero, and minimizing negative impacts from production activities on the environment. In addition, the liquefied natural gas – LNG model is also expected to be put into operation in Western Pacific's projects.

In 2019, a warehouse fire resulted in more than $70 million in damage. With the spirit of "We Can", WPG has worked hard to overcome the consequences. After only 5 months, a new higher standard logistics center was born. WPG did not face any legal charges or social media crises.

During the Covid19 epidemic, WPG was facing a transformation of the digital age faster than ever; without missing the opportunity, it applied digital technology to the entire production process.

To WPG, in every crisis lies an opportunity. It will turn difficulties into motivation and opportunities to improve itself with enough passion, effort, and perseverance.

Achievements & Impact
In 2021, WPG had the opportunity to participate in the "Vietnam – Japan Investment Promotion Conference" as well as meet many famous corporations. The event laid a solid foundation for the cooperation between WPG and Japanese businesses.

Sharing the same potential and development strategy, at present, WPG has become a comprehensive strategic partner with Yoshida Kaiun Group in building the LIC ecosystem.

In addition to revenue goals, WPG focuses on the sustainable development of society and the environment.

During the epidemic period, it implemented several local support policies such as donating ambulances, oxygen tanks, food, and cash, helping children who are in difficult circumstances, or participating in education programs.

In addition, for business activities, it takes advantage of renewable energy, invests in wastewater treatment systems, etc. to minimize negative impacts on the environment.

Future Direction
In the long-term future, WPG intends to expand LIC ecosystems in many other provinces and cities across the country to maximize the economic potential as well as the local transport capacity, promote the economy of the country, creating more jobs and prosperous lives for workers. Moreover, expanding the system to Europe and affirming the position of the Vietnamese brand in the international area are also its goals in the future.

In the short-term future, WPG aims to solve the difficulties in costs and planning for Vietnam's logistics industry in particular and the region's logistics industry in general. It plans to promote digital transformation and takes advantage of land use for planning effectively to synchronize infrastructure from the industrial park to the transport center.
