Surawech Telan entered into the food and beverage business following his own inspiration as a Japanese Shabu-Shabu and Sukiyaki lover. After he graduated with a Master’s Degree from Boston University, U.S.A., Surawech came back to Thailand and observed that there were quite a few of the original Japanese-style Shabu-Shabu and Sukiyaki restaurants in Thailand. Thus, he decided to approach the franchisor of the Shabu-Shabu and Sukiyaki brand, Mo-Mo-Paradise, in Shinjuku, Japan. He had spent over 3 months proving to the franchisor that he really had a strong intention and sincerity to bring this brand to Thailand and preserve the original taste. He eventually received an agreement in terms of a Master's Franchise operation in Thailand.
Throughout the past 14 years of operation as the Managing Director of Mo-Mo-Paradise Thailand, Surawech devotes his everyday life to brand development and maintaining the standard quality to serve valued customers.

Even though he holds the top position at the company, he always keeps an eye on every problem, stands beside his staffs, supervises and supports in every way, leading all staff to proceed in the same direction. He is also balancing between work and his free time. Running is Surawech’s favorite exercise; he always schedules every evening for at least one hour for health. (Noble Restaurant) to exercise and pay attention to their health. Before the Covid-19 pandemic, the company made every Wednesday a jogging day. From time to time, the company will support all employee expenses to attend the mini-marathon event as suggested by Surawech.
Apart from being a boss at work, Surawech is also having a role as a father to his 2 sons. He always spends time with his wife and sons doing family activities such as traveling and swimming.

After getting a franchise, Surawech dedicated 2 years of his time to building a stable foundation and setting up a steady operation team and system. Moreover, he also had to introduce the concept of the original Japanese Shabu-Shabu and Sukiyaki to Thai customers, and it took some time to make people understand and perceive the brand identity since this kind of food was so new in Thailand at that time.
Today, there are 22 branches of Mo-Mo-Paradise including the other 2 successful premium brand restaurants which are Nabezo. This is the fruitful result of the determination and efforts of Surawech and his team to work hard and always maintain the consistency and standard of the products and services.

On the other hand, a large number of employees are being hired which contrasts with the general employment conditions in society.
