For decarbonized culture, MTL has a hybrid workplace that enables employees to work from anywhere and a co-working workspace as “The Garage by Muang Thai Life”. Achievements & Impact
2021 was a remarkable year for the company as it achieved over THB600 billion in total assets and 360% of CAR Ratio (higher than 120%, OIC’s minimum requirement). Moreover, its new business premium is a 10% of YoY growth that mainly consisted of 31% YoY growth in Health & CI, 1,116% YoY Growth in investment-linked products, and 76% of all NBP portion in protection and investment.

Due to the fast-changing environment and customer behaviors, MTL also focused on sustainable business growth. MTL is building a solid business in ecosystem orchestrators through overseas expansion, new business partners, and new ventures through “Fuchsia Venture Capital” to offer new products and unleash the remarkable services over the years for increasing its customer satisfaction and trust.

Recently, MTL would like to offer its health products to respond to customer needs and health trends that partly resulted from the pandemic. The “Elite Health Plus” is MTL’s latest development initiatives rider product, which is a superior lump sum coverage of around THB20-100 million per year. The coverage age was extended to 99 years. It is an unlimited single standard room coverage in Thai hospitals and higher coverage for maternity plus or wellbeing plus.

Moreover, D-Health is the company’s most popular product because the product has extra options that enable customers to choose between the coverage from the first Baht or deductible coverage which premium is more affordable. It also offers customers convertible options or deductible options to alleviate the premium price burden for customers as well without underwriting, a waiting period, and pre-existing conditions. It stands out with easy-to-understand health coverage. It is suitable and attractive for both salarymen, freelancers, and entrepreneurs.

Future Direction
MTL has to develop its foundation to serve customers better in all their journeys and has to prepare itself for the disruptions by engaging various business partners to improve its customer satisfaction and the company’s efficiency under the concept “MTL Next to You” that consists of 3 components.
