Danion is recognized for his passion for his work since his early days as an employee. The Managing Director of Elizon Construction Sdn Bhd today ignited his passion when he was just an employee. Back when he was an Engineer cum Project Manager for a moderately growing construction company, he has expressed great personal interest in bridging, then heavily involved in bridge and roadwork projects. His professional passion further developed among professional peers in his sharing of experience, opinion and solutions. He is also renowned for balancing his professional achievements with personal responsibilities, shouldering the role of loving husband and dependable father of three, a feat attained by few in the practice.

“I knew Danion the founder as well as the Managing Director of ELIZON Construction Sdn Bhd. Though we have so much in common to talk, his conversations were all about bridges. Being his good friend, I was probed him as he always talks about construction which he answered “Its not only my conversation but probably if you cut me and you may be terrified that I may bleed bridges”. His answer impressed me as he is not at all a workaholic as he always makes time for his friends and family, sports and other activities, but he loves his job so much that he is so passionate about bridges. Apart from being a loving son, brother, friend and husband, he is a superhero for his three little kids, whereby he does not work at all on weekends. Above all, he does not send his kids for tuitions. He teaches and coach them on the subjects himself. This shows the bonding with his family. Being an allrounder and multi-tasking personal with so much interest in music and sports as well.”

Danion quoted his inspiration starting from the age of six, watching closely the works of engineers from the public sector operating at his hometown. It grew to an offer for a Degree in Civil Engineering by Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), progressing into offers as an Assistant Bridge Engineer immediately upon graduation, extending to a completion of six bridge projects. The most prominent in his portfolio includes the Sayong Bridge in Kuala Kangsar.

In his second employment, appointed as Senior Project Manager, his career is further inspired as he tied his nuptial knot. Danion proceeded to start his own company, embracing the financial risk that affects his young family and entrepreneurial venture. A choice he did not made lightly and proud of today. Danion credit the weathering of his financial and entrepreneurial woes to the support of his family and friends, which lasted until the completion of his first project. His achievements and company had only increased since then which attained the stability his company is enjoying today.

While working in the second organization, whereby at that point of time as the Senior Project Manager as well as one of the highly paid employers in that organization, he was truly amazed and envied by his co-workers. At that moment tied his nuptial knot and was blessed with a daughter. On that day of his elder daughter was born, he decided that its time for another step, where he decided to do by his own. After having a long discussion with his wife within a week he decided the tough decision, as he were not financially prepared yet decided boldly to start there.
