Over the past 45 years, Hu Lane has experienced the 2008 subprime mortgage financial crisis, the 2018 Sino-US trade war, and the COVID-19 pandemic. However, these crises did not affect the operation of Hu Lane. In the late 1990s, Hu Lane entered the china market one step earlier, and Hu Lane also kept up with the economic growth after the opening of China. Hu Lane began to actively enter the Southeast Asian market after 2008, specifically Vietnam and Indonesia. It has demonstrated that the company is capable of maintaining stable operations during periods of economic and political turmoil. Today, shortening the supply chain is also one of the company’s major strategies for resilience.
To reduce market risks, Hu Lane also began to actively deploy in the European and American markets and established a joint venture with the international manufacturer Lear Co. and set up an office in Europe.
