In 2021, the biggest brownfield project in Taiwan, which is CPC Kaohsiung refinery soil and groundwater remediation, was initiated. TESC won the project of Zone 3-1 with a contaminated area of 12.5 acres and 210,000 cubic meters.
The company evacuated the contaminated soil and delisted the contaminated control in less than 10 months. After remediation, this site will be used as foundry land, thereby creating thousands of job opportunities. During the past 5 years, the company also constructed five wastewater reuse plants of government public construction projects with a treating capacity of 250,000 CMD as well as improving the river quality and water resource utilization.
