IPP Travel Retail (IPPTR) is the strategic step of IPPG to conquer the consumer goods and non-aviation service at airports. After 20 years, IPPTR has developed retail chain stores at the international airports and duty-free hypermarts at border gates with a variety of services from fashion, food and beverages (F&B) to souvenirs and advertising services. With the premium quality of products and professional services, all the customers' essential needs are met. This has offered IPPTR the privilege to become a partner of the major international airports including Tan Son Nhat, Noi Bai, Da Nang, Phu Quoc.
IPPTR is the only travel retail operator at airports in Vietnam and a pioneer in diversifying products for customers. IPPTR serves about 20 million passengers departing from these airports to 21 destinations in Vietnam and 10 million international passengers from Vietnam to other countries.
IPPTR is the strategic partner of major airports across the country in investing and providing a variety of advertising services, including liquid crystal display (LCD) and light-emitting diode (LED) screens, billboards, trolleys, massage sofas, rating boards, Wi-Fi, etc., to satisfy advertising demands at local and international airports. Together with the airports, the company joint-provides airport services to passengers that meet the strict standards of SkyTrax.

IPPTR is compliant with the regulation under Vietnam law in which all staff were signed off labour contracts and paid insurance with their actual salary on the contracts. The company offers several benefits for staff such as meal and transportation allowances; commission bonus and KPI bonus; annual salary review and promotion; team building and training courses. In addition, the company participates in corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities. For instance, IPPTR and IPPG have contributed VND 131.81 billion to social charity activities from 2015 to 2020.

Achievements & Impact
IPP Travel Retails currently operates two main businesses which are airport retail and advertising. Its airport retail business has over 35 retail stores in more than 5 major airports and shopping malls, which earned a revenue of USD 17 million in 2019. Meanwhile, its airport advertising earned USD 3 million in revenue in 2019.
IPPG has invested, co-invested and invested in 47 projects with a total capital of more than USD 500 million and has created jobs for more than 25,000 workers in Vietnam, with an average annual sales of USD 542 million.
With IPPG’s investment experience and close cooperation with domestic companies, the company has contributed to the transformation of the economic development for remote areas such as Moc Bai, Lao Bao, Thanh Bien, Cai Cai, Lao Cai, etc.
Another one of IPPG’s greatest successes is its active contribution to building wildlands into densely populated areas, creating jobs for tens of thousands of local and regional workers which plays a part in the country’s development and stabilises the social security situation in border areas.
Future Direction
In 2018, IPPG marked a major turning point by expanding its retail business into the field of technology and artificial intelligence. IPP Technology was born to mark a major turning point in the journey of "bringing the world's elite to Vietnam". By expanding the retail business into the field of technology, it is the eDiGi store—the first high-end Apple warranty distributor and retailer in Vietnam.
In addition, IPP Tech has been expanding products and applications of technology in the field of robotics to the Vietnamese market, which is a great step forward for IPPG in bringing the user experience to a new level in the context of the 4th Industrial Revolution taking place worldwide.
With the current strategic expansion plan, IPP Travel Retails Management aims to open new stores in 5 new airports in 2022.
