Starting in securities; Yuanta has constantly developed, expanded and explored various financial solutions to bring sustainable development and bring prosperity to their investors and ultimately dominant brokerage market and become the largest securities broker in Taiwan. Moving forward toward its objective of being the “Best Financial Services Provider in the Asia Pacific Region”, Yuanta Financial Holding was founded in 2007 and become leading financial firm in Securities and Banking related business for more than a decade in Taiwan.

Growth Initiatives
Late 2017, Yuanta Securities acquired First Securities Company in Vietnam, changed its name to Yuanta Securities Vietnam Ltd. and increased charter capital from initially VND 300 billion to VND 1,000 billion, hiring new management team and staffs. The company opened 04 branches: Binh Duong, Da Nang, Vung Tau and Dong Nai. Its revenues have increased more than 5 times over the last two years. Number of clients have also increased over four times in the same period. Total number of staffs also reach 250 compared to around 50 three years ago. The main business includes: Brokerage; Investment Advisory, Underwriting, Proprietary Trading, Corporate Finance Advisory. Yuanta Securities Vietnam ‘s advantages are connecting to a large business network in Asia (particularly in Taiwan, Hong Kong, Korea, Thailand) and possessing a wide range of individual and institutional clients worldwide. Recently, in September 2020, Yuanta Vietnam increased its paid-up capital to VND1,500 billion making it one of the top 10 th largest securities companies in terms of paid-up capital in Vietnam.
